Your beautiful sterling silver jewelry has been made with a special non-tarnishing alloy.

This special non-tarnishing sterling silver maintains its shiny appearance for a long time. In fact, if you wear your Sporty Jewels regularly, your body oils will help to keep the tarnishing down and cleaning to a minimum.

We recommend using a silver jewelers cloth such as the fabulustre rouge cloth as shown or silver cleaner and a soft 100% cotton cloth to buff when needed. Cloth can be purchased from Sporty Jewels.

Your sterling silver jewelry is a metal that is meant to be worn. If you just leave it laying around, it will tarnish. To keep your piece tarnish free when not being worn, keep the jewelry in the plastic ziplock bag that it arrived in and keep it in a dry dark environment.

Clean gold jewelry by soaking it for 10 to 15 minutes in a mixture of 1 cup warm water and one-half cup ammonia. Gently scrub with a child's soft toothbrush. Rinse in warm water. Dry with a soft cotton cloth.

Always avoid contact with chlorine water, such as swimming pools and showers, as it will cause the sterling silver to tarnish quickly .
